Summer is now passing, and it is becoming cooler. Many of our members have returned from cooler climes, so we have now had a meeting on Thursday 17th September at St. Luke’s in Prodromi, when Kate Fessas, of ‘Beauty by Kate’, told us about Reflexology.
Sixteen ladies enjoyed Kate’s interesting and entertaining talk, which gave everyone food for thought, explaining that reflexology is a holistic way of taking care of our bodies. Kate told us that she did her training in Aberdeen and made us all laugh with some of her tales (three of the girls on the course became pregnant after learning and practicing the reproductive points!). Some St. Luke’s ladies already use her services and others asked for contact details.
Fellowship was shared, enjoying scrumptious cakes and coffee afterwards with Kate as she answered many questions. Many thanks to Kate, Catherine and the ladies of St. Luke’s
In October, St. Stephen’s will be the venue for a presentation by Janine Scott, on how modern technology is improving healthcare for you and me. This will be at the usual time of 3 p.m. on Thursday 15th October, and refreshments will be provided by ladies from Ayia Kyriaki.
Our last meeting for 2015 will be on Thursday November 19, hosted by and held at St. Stephen’s. The speaker will be Joan Brewster telling us about the humour she found in teaching; it promises to be another entertaining afternoon.
Please put these dates in your diary. If you wish more information, please contact Barbara Reid on 96 673393 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
