Charitable Giving

fi-charitable-givingThe Charitable Giving Committee is a sub-committee of the Church Council responsible for identifying charitable/worthy causes that they consider deserving of financial support by the Anglican Church of Paphos.

Each year members of the Church are invited to submit names that they would like the Charitable Giving Committee to review.

Working to an AGM approved budget they submit their recommendations to the Church Council for their consideration and deliberations together with the recommended sums of money to be given to each organisation/worthy cause. Funds for local charities are raised at our annual Christmas Fayre and Flower Festival. International charities are funded from Church monies and/or special collections.
